- Help facilitate and support the implementation of the Elsipogtog/Esgenoôpetitj/Canada Interim Fisheries Implementation Agreement
- Coordinate Mawiw-wide Guardian training related to the fishery, search and rescue, and emergency management, like:
- Guardian training
- wilderness first aid
- snowmobiling training
- de-escalation techniques
- driving and vehicle workshops
- personal protection equipment training
- canoe training
- drone training
- search and rescue training
- Enhance the communities’ Guardian programs
- Develop standard operating procedures for Guardians
- Oversee and reports on activities in the treaty related measure (TRM) agreement
- Oversee the implementation of activities associated with the reconciliation agreements program (RAP)
